Congrats on your wonderful news!

Hope you are feeling better soon. But, I know I was an emotional rag my entire pregnancy. I cried at the drop of a hat and I think my husband thought I was losing my mind.

Congratulations, Melanie. I hope your mood improves, though I completely understand. I am pretty sure Scott felt like he was walking on eggshells for my entire pregnancy with Lauryn; I was not a pleasant person.

Okay, since you officially announced it, I will officially congratulate you now! Everything crossed that all will go well. And can he go as a referee instead of a player? Don't know if that would be easier, it was the only idea I had. (And footy was a new term for me!)

We are having our own Footy day dramas.
Both of mine have a team (different ones) but we have an undersupply of Footy clothing (mainly because it cost so much. Rory has a Hat and T-shirt that Grandpa gave him (same team) but Amelia does not even have anything in the right colour (Navy Blue). I don't really know what I will find, but I will find something. I am ready to send Amelia in Rory's team colours.

Another thought I had Melanie, is that Slapped Cheek, which is also called 5th's disease (becasue it is one of the five most common viruses in childhood) is something you probably were exposed to in your childhood. You have probably already had it many years ago.

Thinking of you anyway. See you at the Footy fest tomorrow :-)

We have an appalling footy situation in our house. On my side, there is NO INTEREST (I'm born and bred Victorian, too!) and on the man of the house's side is a LARGE EXTENDED FAMILY of Collingwood supporters. My poor child is doomed. It hit me like a bolt when I was about 6 months pregnant with her.

Fingers and toes crossed (and comfy-wumfy clothes) for the teeny little one.

Hey, my kids have no idea what footy is either. You're not the only ones! And go on, drag out the maternity clothes - I think I was in them by 8 weeks for pregnancy number two, so I can only imagine how it must be for number three! Go for comfort!
